Event Specialist

About this position

We’re looking for someone to help us run events in the Czech Republic and abroad. In Germany and the UK, to be precise. Someone who enjoys working with people, who is naturally extroverted (because, truth be told, most of us in the team aren't), and who can own and manage the event process from start to finish.

What you’ll be in charge of

Event strategy. You’ll map out the landscape of B2B events in Czechia, Germany, and the UK and pick the ones that make the most sense for us to attend or sponsor. It’s not just about booking a booth. We’re talking active research of sponsorship opportunities, booths, speaker slots, and panel discussions.

End-to-end execution. Even after the event’s picked, it’ll be yours to own. Booking, logistics, booth setup, prepping visuals and marketing materials (with support from our design team)... the works.

Communication. You’ll be in touch with event organizers and coordinate closely with our internal teams—especially business development. You’ll also manage our sponsor profiles, write invites, and capture content from the events—photos, short videos, interviews, blog inputs.

Finances. Together with our CFO, you’ll plan event budgets and make sure they’re used wisely. After each event, you’ll analyze how it went, gather feedback, and suggest next steps.

Admin support. Invoices, contracts, travel reports—we’ve got a back office team to help with that. You won’t be alone in the paperwork.

Other events. From time to time, you’ll also lend a hand with our own business meetups and Crew Talks (taking pictures and the like). We have our own Meetup Space for these.

What’ll help you

You’ve done (some of) this before. Whether it’s event planning, PR, copywriting, or B2B marketing in general, you’re off to a good start. Even if you’ve got experience in just one of these.

You’re a driver, not just a passenger. You take initiative, you stand your ground (but also listen), and you don’t wait around for someone to tell you what to do.

Speaking English is natural to you. You’ll be writing in it, speaking it, and using it every day.

You keep in touch with what’s new. You stay up to date with trends and know how to get help from tools like ChatGPT or Gemini. Without losing your own voice in the process and knowing their limits.
