Our small product team is slowly but surely growing larger. It’s time to kick things up a notch.
Coming up with a top-of-the-line solution to the satisfaction and success of our clients is our goal. And to make that happen, we need someone to help us promote the interests of end users, someone who won’t buy into sweet nothings and who will instead validate every new idea and method.
How it works in Applifting
Each of us is usually engaged in multiple things at the same time. You’ll have the opportunity to work on both internal and external projects.
Our work begins before development even comes into play, so it’s important to test and validate everything to make sure the solution we work on succeeds and brings value to people’s lives.
We offer a mentoring program to anyone who wants to further develop their skills. We will help you move forward and enhance your knowledge. Regardless of how many years of experience you have, we will put you firmly in charge of your own growth.
What we expect from you:
- You have extensive experience in digital product development, whether it's a new idea in a startup or long-term development of a larger product in a product company.
- You have experience conducting user research and product validation (interviews or user testing)
- You have a history of creating and managing product backlogs and communicating with the technical team
- You are strong in communication, presentation skills and are able to act a bit like a diplomat
- You have experience facilitating workshops or even design sprints
- Your decisions are based on data rather than feelings
- You don't mind switching between multiple projects at once, often in different domains and at different stages of the product lifecycle
- You can effectively choose the appropriate approach to a project based on its budget and timeline
- You are familiar with some of product development or design methodologies (e.g. Design Thinking, Lean Startup, etc.)
- You are fluent in Czech/Slovak and English. Applifting is a company with an international culture and English as the "official language", at the same time many of our clients will need to speak Czech with you.
- You know or want to learn how to use visualisation tools (ideally Miro plus FigJam, Balsamiq or other similar tool)
