Business Developer for DACH region 🇩🇪

About this position

We’re looking for a Business Developer to join our 5-person Client Acquisition Team (CAT 🐱). and help us grow our CZ market and presence in the DACH region.
Our approach is different from standard sales:

  • No solo KPIs - team goals only

  • Collaboration first - every opportunity is handled in pairs (tech + business)

  • Smart outreach- events, talks, and strategic marketing support instead of cold calling

  • Full-cycle involvement - from the first hello to project delivery and long-term client partnerships

Your role in the team:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships

  • Represent Applifting at events and networking opportunities

  • Lead proposals and negotiations, ensuring win–win outcomes

  • Collaborate closely with tech leads and architects on tailored solutions

  • Manage CRM and follow up on leads systematically

  • Support existing clients as a key partner throughout the project lifecycle

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships

  • Represent Applifting at events and networking opportunities

  • Lead proposals and negotiations, ensuring win–win outcomes

  • Collaborate closely with tech leads and architects on tailored solutions

What we’re looking for:

  • Native-level German (or very close to it), communicative English

  • Open to frequent travel across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland 

  • Any previous experience with the DACH market — sales, partnerships, projects, networking… all relevant

  • Experience with IT/digital products and an understanding of the IT project lifecycle

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset

  • Organized, reliable, and a real team player

  • Native-level German (or very close to it), communicative English

  • Taking ownership of team goals while having the freedom to shape them with your input.

  • Identifying new business opportunities and building strong connections.

  • Managing and maintaining our CRM system to keep things organized.

What you bring:

  • Fluent German (C1+) and very good English.

  • Ideally, you are based in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and have a strong network there.

  • Experience in the IT industry and good understanding of the IT project lifecycle.

  • Confidence in business meetings and negotiations.

  • Passion for digital products and tech trends.

  • Proactive, structured, and reliable way of working.

  • Strong networking skills and ability to build long-term client relationships. 🤝

  • Willingness to travel regularly across the DACH region (approx. once per month). ✈️
